Uncertified Instructor

The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board invites applications from qualified and dedicated individuals for the position of Uncertified Instructor. The Uncertified Instructor is a caring and compassionate individual available to replace the permanent teacher in the classroom during an unplanned absence, adhering to the day's lesson plan and ensuring the students have a fulfilling learning experience. Uncertified Instructors will only be contacted when no qualified occasional teachers are available. The Uncertified Instructor gains valuable experience and initiates future teaching opportunities within our School Board. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours, travel to schools throughout the Board and be available to accept assignments with short notice.

Applications will be accepted from education students registered in a Bachelor of Education Program (Year One and Year Two). Consideration will also be given to individuals waiting for their OCT status to be confirmed.

In order to be considered for an interview, please ensure that the following documents are included as part of your application package:

• Cover Letter and Resume
• Proof of teacher education program enrollment
• The names and contact information of no less than three professional references, one of which must be a current or recent supervisor, with the expressed written authorization to contact these references
• Recent Pastoral Reference, within the past six months
