The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board is seeking an Uncertified Instructor to cover classroom vacancies when needed, following the day’s plan and ensuring engaging learning. The role requires flexibility, willingness to travel to various schools, and the ability to accept short-notice assignments.
Ideal candidates include education students in a Bachelor of Education program, with consideration given to those awaiting OCT status.
The Uncertified Instructor is a caring and compassionate individual available to replace the permanent teacher in the classroom during an unplanned absence, adhering to the day's lesson plan and ensuring the students have a fulfilling learning experience. Uncertified Instructors will only be contacted when no qualified occasional teachers are available. The Uncertified Instructor gains valuable experience and initiates future teaching opportunities within our School Board. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours, travel to schools throughout the Board and be available to accept assignments with short notice.
Applications will be accepted from education students registered in a Bachelor of Education Program (Year One and Year Two). Consideration will also be given to individuals waiting for their OCT status to be confirmed.
