Job summary

A fast-moving software agency is seeking a part-time or freelance UI / UX Designer to lead design efforts for both internal branding and client projects. The position is Montreal-based preferred but fully remote, requiring candidates to be located in Canada.

Stackfee is a fast-moving software agency that builds SaaS platforms and modern web apps for startups and established businesses. We’re looking for a part-time or freelance UI / UX Designer to lead our design efforts both internally and for client projects — including branding and marketing websites.

What You’ll Do

• Own and evolve the visual identity and internal branding of Stackfee (website, pitch decks, content, social assets)
• Lead the design of client projects, from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups
• Design polished, modern marketing websites for clients across different industries
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to bring designs to life
• Create responsive, intuitive, and modern interfaces for SaaS and mobile apps
• Develop and maintain reusable design systems
• Provide design insight during client calls and sprint planning (as needed)
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI / UX design for web apps and marketing websites (SaaS a big plus)
• Proficiency in Figma
• Understanding of front-end development principles (doesn’t need to code, but bonus if you do)
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and take feedback
• Comfortable working independently and managing design priorities
• Proficient in English and French

• Competitive hourly rate, with potential for long-term or full-time role
