We are hiring a Ubuntu Core Software Engineer to redefine the Linux experience in embedded environments with a focus on security, upgradability, and minimalism in IoT. This role involves working on low-level operating systems, kernels, and device firmware, and is ideal for someone passionate about open source, Linux, and security.
As part of the Ubuntu Core team, you'll design and implement software for various CPU architectures, including ARM, RISC-V, and x86, focusing on boot mechanisms, bootloaders, device trees, kernels, and services.
