Job summary

Virtusa seeks an experienced UAT Lead with Finance and Banking domain know-how to oversee end-to-end User Acceptance Testing activities in Toronto. The candidate will drive test planning, stakeholder alignment, and signoff processes across multi‑discipline teams.

You will own UAT deliverables including test plans, test cases, execution, defect validation and reporting, coordinate data readiness and environments, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and present status dashboards to project

Qualifications

• Experience in UAT within finance or banking sector.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead endtoend UAT for banking applications and digital transformation initiatives
• Own assigned UAT deliverables including test plan test case preparation execution defect validation and reporting
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate UAT requirements
• Review and validate business requirements functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate UAT planning test data preparation environment readiness and execution activities
• Manage UAT defect lifecycle including defect triage prioritization tracking and resolution
• Work closely with Development QA Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure timely issue resolution
• Monitor UAT progress identify risks and provide mitigation plans
• Prepare and present UAT status reports dashboards and metrics to project leadership
• Ensure all critical business scenarios are tested and meet business expectations before production deployment
• Facilitate UAT signoff from business stakeholders
• Mentor junior UAT analysts and drive best practices across the testing team
• Support production validation and postrelease verification when required
