Job summary

Opal Hospitality is seeking a Complex Director of Sales to lead the sales and marketing strategy for Courtyard by Marriott and Hampton by Hilton in Ottawa. The role focuses on maximizing revenue, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR across both properties, with active client engagement and disciplined account management.

The CDOS will develop relationships with corporate, government, group, sports and meetings accounts, oversee RFPs and cross-sell offerings between properties while partnering with Revenue

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hospitality sales experience.
• Branded hotel experience, preferably Hilton/Marriott or similar.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage two properties and drive revenue growth across segments.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and marketing strategy for two hotels in Ottawa.
• Develop relationships with corporate, government, group, sports and events accounts.
• Negotiate rates and contracts within brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management to maximize ADR, occupancy and RevPAR.
• Oversee cross-property sales, budgets and forecasting.
