Job summary

Schaeffler Canada is seeking a CNC Operator to support its Stratford manufacturing operations. The role involves setting up and running CNC processes, operating robotic loading systems, and ensuring product quality according to standards.

The successful candidate will read production prints, use precision measuring tools, and document data in production systems. Education is Grade 12, with related turning experience or mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple CNC production processes.
• Set up and operate robotic loading systems.
• Perform basic problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production issues.

• Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment.
• Record data in routers, IMS and production tracking systems.
• Train other operators as needed.
• May set up a machine for others to operate.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple CNC production processes.
• Set up an operate robotic loading systems.
• Perform basic problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process. Monitor production process according to maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance in timely manner.
• Required to perform inspection of own work usingprecision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required duties.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
