Job summary

PTW in Hinton, AB is seeking a local Instrumentation Journeyman to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for instrumentation systems across a range of industrial projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and capable of interpreting technical drawings, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with supervision and trades. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid safety certifications CSTS-20, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, AWP, WHMIS 2015.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to relocate and work up to 8–12 hour shifts when workload requires.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and project specs.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Complete required job documentation, reports, and maintenance records accurately.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, project teams, and other trades.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
