BPA in Vaughan, Canada, is seeking a Trust Fund Accountant to manage trust transactions for multi-employer clients and support the Senior Trust Fund Accountant in delivering exceptional service.

The Trust Fund Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions of trust funds for multi-employer clients. This role works collaboratively within the Client Accounting team with BPA to ensure timely and accurate record keeping while complying with all legal and regulatory requirements. The Trust Fund Accountant supports the Senior Trust Fund Accountant in the delivery of exceptional client service.
To be successful as a Trust Fund Accountant with BPA, you will need 3+ years of working in an office environment with a focus on Accounting. Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to write reports, business correspondence. Experience with full-cycle accounting. Maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism Excellent software skills, including MS office applications with intermediate to advanced level in MS Excel; Team player with collaborative mindset. Strong knowledge of trust laws, fiduciary responsibilities, tax regulations. Strong customer service skills, experience in a client / customer facing setting. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related Finance field is preferred but not required.
The base salary for this position is between $65,000 - $70,000 annually. The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
