Structural Truss Systems is hiring a Builder/General Labourer at our Fort MacLeod, AB facility. The role involves assembling trusses, inspecting lumber, and using hand and power tools in an afternoon/evening shift. You will maintain clean workstations and follow safety procedures while contributing to timely, quality builds.

We value a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to read layout designs. Cross-training and benefits are provided in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand truss layouts.
• Experience with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Good math skills and ability to use imperial and metric tapes.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trusses according to layouts and instructions.
• Review layouts and inspect lumber for quality.
• Use hand and power tools to complete builds.
• Keep stations clean and dispose of waste properly.
• Report tool or machine issues and assist with maintenance.
• Follow health and safety procedures and work safely.
