Structural Truss Systems in Fort MacLeod, AB, is hiring a Builder/General Labourer for the Wall Shop on a full-time contract ending around December 18, 2026. Monday to Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

The role requires reading truss layouts, using hand and power tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will join a team focussed on quality and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read truss layouts and follow instructions.
• Experience with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
• Good math skills with imperial/metric measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble walls accurately according to layout designs and instructions.
• Review wall layouts and inspect pre-cut lumber for quality and accuracy.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete builds.
• Keep workstations organized and clean, and properly dispose of waste.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any tool or machine issues.
• Follow all health and safety procedures to perform work safely.
• Help keep the shop running smoothly with other duties as assigned.

Structural Truss Systems specializes in the design, manufacturing, andtransportation of custom roof trusses, floor systems, and wall panels for everysize of residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We operate out of a manufacturing facility inFort MacLeod, AB, just 25 minutes west ofLethbridge, AB.

We are currently looking to hire the following position in ourStructural Truss Systems facility in Fort Macleod, AB.

This role would be a full time contract role ending approx. December 18, 2026

As a Builder, you will:

• Assemblewalls accurately according to layout designs and instructions

• Physical ability to perform their job safely(lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand, walk, bend for fullshift)
