Truss Assembler (Experienced) – Full Time

Location: Innisfil, ON (just off Hwy 400)

United Truss is part of United Lumber, a multi-locationbuilding materials supplier serving professional builders and contractors. Wespecialize in the manufacturing of high-quality roof trusses and are proud tosupport the residential construction industry across the region.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Truss Assemblers to joinour growing team. This is a hands‑on role assembling pre-cut lumber componentsinto roof trusses in a fast‑paced production environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction‑relatedexperience, especially those with backgrounds in:

  • Trussbuilding or manufacturing
  • Residentialframing
  • Deckbuilding
  • Carpentryor general construction
Key Responsibilities
  • Assembleroof trusses using pre‑cut wood components according to blueprints andproduction specifications
  • Positionand secure components on assembly tables using jigs, plates, staplers, andpresses
  • Uselaser‑guided systems (Virtek/Wizard) and measuring tools to ensureaccuracy
  • Performquality checks to confirm dimensions, alignment, and material quality
  • Maintaina safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Followall health & safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Assistwith inventory, housekeeping, and general production duties as needed
What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Previoushands‑on experience in construction, carpentry, framing, or trussassembly
  • Abilityto read measurements and interpret drawings or setup sheets
  • Strongmath and problem‑solving skills
  • Highattention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliablewith a strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Preferred:

  • Experiencewith pneumatic tools, saws, or production equipment
  • Manufacturingor assembly line experience
Working Conditions
  • Dayshift (Monday to Friday)
  • Physicallydemanding role involving:
    • Liftingup to 40 lbs
    • Standing,bending, gripping, and repetitive motions
