Job summary

BV Glazing is seeking a reliable Truck Driver – DZ or Above to join our Shipping team at the Concord facility. You will safely operate company vehicles, complete deliveries across the GTA, assist with loading, and maintain accurate driving documentation.

We offer a fixed hourly rate under our CBA, comprehensive benefits, vacation accrual, and a healthy, safe work environment. Candidates must have a DZ license, a clean abstract, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ license or above.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract with no moving violations.
• Strong navigation knowledge of the Toronto downtown core and GTA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven attendance and punctuality record.
• Ability and willingness to lift 50–80 lbs.
• Load trucks in a team setting.
• Work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Complete deliveries and pickups efficiently and professionally throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials in a team environment.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driving documentation.
• Maintain clear communication with Shipping, Production, and site teams.
• Ensure materials are secured and transported safely to prevent damage.
• Demonstrate strong attendance, punctuality, and professionalism daily.
• Actively participate in and promote a safe work environment.

Please Note: Compensation for this position is determined in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). As such, the hourly rate is fixed and not subject to negotiation.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

BV Glazing is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver – DZ or Above to join our Shipping team at our Concord facility. This role is responsible for the safe transportation of materials, supporting loading operations, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of professionalism, communication, and safety.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must meet company insurance requirements
  • Copy of Driver’s Abstract (MVR)
  • CVOR/CVDR documentation
  • Driving experience letter outlining heavy vehicle operation and claims history

BASE SALARY RANGE

$27.20 Hourly rate
