American Iron & Metal (AIM) seeks a Truck Mechanic to join our Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec team. This evening shift runs Monday to Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

You will diagnose, maintain and repair heavy vehicles and mobile equipment, perform preventive inspections, and ensure safety and quality across operations. Ideal candidates hold a DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (or equivalent), a PEP card, 2+ years of experience, and familiarity with hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic

Qualificações

• DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training.
• PEP card is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of OHS standards and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of the equipment.

Job Description

• Requirement:PEP card.

• Technical Knowledge:Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Computer Skills:Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
• Driver’s License
• Safety:Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and adherence to safety protocols.

Additional Information

• Permanent full-time position
• Evening schedule: Monday to Thursday – 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM
• Premium for the evening shift
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
