Job Description: Truck Driver

This position requires a high school graduation certificate and involves various tasks related to transportation and customer service. The role includes loading and unloading goods, operating trucks, conducting vehicle inspections, and handling dangerous goods. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license (Class 1 or A) and an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Address customer complaints and concerns
  2. Maintain professionalism in customer service
  3. Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
  4. Perform vehicle inspections before, during, and after trips
  5. Communicate with dispatch and record trip details
  6. Transport dangerous goods safely

Required documentation knowledge includes accident reports, bill of lading, and inspection reports. Equipment used may include tractor-trailers, CB radios, and onboard trip recorders. The role involves international and national travel, including cross-border and overnight trips.

Safety and security measures include background checks, driving record checks, and drug testing. Candidates should be willing to handle heavy loads (up to 45 kg), and possess safety gear such as steel-toed boots and safety vests.
