• Load and unload freight, or oversee loading and unloading.
• Secure cargo properly and tarp loads when required.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption in the driver logbook.
• Receive and relay information to dispatch and communicate with customers at pick-up and delivery.
• Comply with all provincial and federal transportation regulations and company safety policies.
• May perform emergency roadside repairs if necessary.
