Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Address customer complaints or concerns
• Arrange travel, itineraries, and reservations
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• Load and unload goods
• Obtain permits and documents for international cargo transport
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and equipment
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Communicate with dispatch
• Record cargo info, hours, distance, fuel consumption
• Ensure cargo safety and security, including tarping and handling dangerous goods
