• The candidate will be responsible for calculating the cost of truck repairs and new parts as needed.
• The candidate must respond to customer complaints or concerns.
• The candidate must maintain professionalism in customer service.

• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
• The candidate must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Documentation knowledge

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip), maintenance and repair reports and trip reports.

Transportation/travel experience

• The candidate must have travel experience in the local area.

Security and safety

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check, a driver's validity licence check, and a driving record check (abstract).
