Job summary

Country West Enterprises Ltd. in Humboldt, SK is seeking a dedicated truck driver to operate a semi with Super B trailers, hauling grain, fertilizer, and feed to scheduled destinations across Central Saskatchewan.

You will join a team committed to safety and dependable customer service. The ideal candidate holds a Class 1A license with at least 2 years of experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class 1A) to operate a large vehicle
  • Two (2) years' previous professional driving experience or related experience
  • Must have a clean driving record with no recent moving violations
  • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, extended hours, and holidays as needed
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post trip inspection of vehicle systems
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • Physically fit and able to climb in and out of grain trailers, perform truck maintenance and sit for long time periods
  • Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
  • Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills required

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently drive a semi pulling Super B trailers hauling grain, fertilizer and/or feed to scheduled destinations within Central Saskatchewan.
  • The ideal candidate already has their Class 1A Driver's License and has previous training in operating and driving.
