Job summary

Diamond K Transport is currently seeking 2 reliable and experienced 1A drivers to join our growing team. We operate from the McLean, SK area serving the farming industry across SK, MB and AB. Home weekends off with some weekend work in May/Sept/Oct; can be weekdays nights depending location.

Pay is percentage based, with trucks and trailers kept up to date. Ideal candidates are located near Regina or Saskatoon, or within commutable distance, and have a strong work ethic, safety mindset, and good

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1A license.
• Clean driving abstract.
• Able to pass drug/alcohol test.
• Hardworking and enthusiastic.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Physically able to load/unload grain and granular fertilizer
• Physically able to load/unload liquid fertilizer
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and other trip paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch and farmers
• General equipment maintenance

Diamond K Transport is currently seeking 2 reliable and experienced 1A drivers to join our growing team - Diamond K has been operating from McLean, SK area serving the farming industry since 2017 in SK, MB and AB - We run new/newer trucks and super-b trailers - Candidates would be ideally located between Regina and Saskatoon but not required Weekends off with some weekend work in May/Sept/Oct Some weekday nights at home depending where you are located Pay is percentage based

Duties

• Physically able load/unload grain and granular fertilizer
• Physically able load /unload liquid fertilizer
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and other trip paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch and farmers
• General equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Valid Class 1A license
• Clean and current drivers abstract
• Able to pass a drug/alcohol test
• Mechanical inclined would be an asset
• Hardworking and enthusiastic
• Team player with good communication skills
