EVEREST TRANSPORTATION INC is seeking an AZ-licensed truck driver for Ontario operations. The role requires on-site work with potential cross-border travel, long-haul routes, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

You will join a two-person team and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery of goods. The candidate should have a high school diploma and proven experience in professional customer service, logistics, and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.

EXPERIENCE

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES
TASKS
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns

  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
