Job summary

PONY EXPRESS LIMTED is seeking an experienced truck driver to operate straight and articulated trucks for transporting goods in Ontario and across borders. The role requires a valid AZ license, Air Brake endorsement, and a 2–3 year driving background in demanding environments.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, effective communication with dispatch, and maintaining accurate logs. You will work roughly 40–45 hours bi-weekly with potential for longer routes and travel insurance

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• AZ class license is required.
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement is required.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in trucking.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections; oversee vehicle condition.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch; maintain logs and mileage records.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods where applicable.
• Maintain safety by checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
