Job summary

Kibbi in Canada is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician for a permanent, full-time position. You will work 40 to 48 hours per week, performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on truck and automotive systems, and communicating findings to customers.

The role requires a trades certificate or diploma and relevant automotive certifications, with opportunities to guide apprentices and contribute to service quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or diploma in automotive field.
• Multiple automotive trade certifications and endorsements.
• Experience meeting safety and quality standards in mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial truck systems.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Road test motor vehicles and review work orders.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair needs.
• Coach and instruct apprentices
• Provide customer service and complete documentation of work performed
