Job Description

Position available on our night shift. Shift is Mon-Thurs 15:30 - 02:00 (4x10).

Responsibilities include completing regular maintenance, yearly CVI inspections, and completing required paperwork on trucks, 5-ton vehicles, vans, flat decks, and converter dollies.

1. Remove and replace brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, bearings, races, and all other associated parts.
2. Troubleshoot and repair emissions systems, electrical systems, and lighting systems.
3. Repair or replace chassis components such as springs, spring hangers, equalizers, slider assemblies, axles, subframes, and parts related to air ride suspension and air system components.
4. Repair or replace bumpers, bumper braces, mud flap brackets, dolly legs/assemblies, using welding or oxy-acetylene torch if necessary.
5. Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, doors, door trims, minor roof repairs, panels, nose panels, rails, and related parts.
6. Maintain a clean personal work area during and after each shift.
7. Assist in performing any additional tasks outside primary job functions as needed.
8. Ensure timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift.

Qualifications

• Licensed with 310T or 310J, or a third-year apprentice.
• Registered with the Trades & Apprentice Board.
• Valid driver’s license, Class 5 at minimum.
