Job description

The Tree Planting Machine Operator position is critical to our planting operation, and we have multiple positions available. They are a vital support role for our tree planters throughout the summer and require highly motivated self-starters.

Qualifications

• Class 4 or 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Tree planting experience is considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks

Responsibilities

Tree Planting Machine Operators are responsible for organizing day-to-day operations to maximize crew productivity. Duties will include, driving, loading unloading boxes and or trays, setting up caches, equipment use (skidder, pumps, vehicles), watering trees, tree deliveries, managing inventory of both full and empty tree trays. Supporting safety and quality of the operation and team will be expected. As well as other duties as needed.

Salary up to $1300/week (negotiated based on experience).
