What You'll Do:
The Treasury Specialist plays a critical role in managing the daily operations of the credit union's treasury function. This includes active participation in capital markets activities such as securitization, managing syndicated loan positions, handling brokered deposit relationships, and supporting liquidity, funding, and investment activities. The position requires a deep understanding of financial markets, cash management, regulatory compliance, and treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support loan securitizations by preparing data, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and managing ongoing reporting.
- Manage syndicated loan activities, including tracking payments, maintaining documentation, and supporting new opportunities.
- Administer brokered deposit programs and build relationships with brokers to align funding strategies with liquidity needs.
- Oversee daily treasury operations like cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and investment settlements.
- Prepare timely, accurate treasury reports for leadership, regulators, and committees.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards, supporting audits and identifying potential risks.
What You Have:
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a treasury, capital markets, or corporate finance role.
- Experience with securitization, syndicated lending, or brokered deposits highly preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Financial Analysis: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with treasury management systems, data analytics tools, or similar platforms.
- Risk Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory capital, liquidity, and interest rate risk principles.
- Communication: Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Detail Oriented: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Salary range for this position: $66,300 - $78,000.
