Job summary

Wildstone Construction and Engineering Ltd. is hiring 2nd–4th Year Sheet Metal Apprentices to join our Mechanical team on projects across Western Canada, including wastewater plants, energy and institutional builds, and commercial developments.

You’ll travel to sites throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories, work 10‑hour shifts on a 21/7 rotation, and support Journeypersons installing ductwork, ventilation and make‑up air systems.

Qualifications

• Registered Sheet Metal apprentice in 3rd or 4th year, with ICI project experience.
• Good working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning – HVAC and building codes.
• Dependable, self-starting with punctual attendance.
• History of working safely and keeping equipment in good working order.
• Willing to travel to various locations in Canada.
• Hold or obtain Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015, Elevated Work Platform, Level 1 First Aid, and H2S Alive.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings and work with specifications.
• Assist in repairing existing air and heat ducts and exhaust hoods.
• Fasten components using various methods.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain gear.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; be flexible to take on other tasks as needed.
