Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Merchandiser to manage SmartStock programs and in-store merchandising across interior British Columbia. You will be responsible for tote-to-rack merchandising, display rack assembly, plan-o-gram execution, product rotation, and comprehensive merchandising services.

This full-time role requires 100% travel to customer locations within the interior BC territory, including Kelowna, Kamloops, Vernon, Merritt, Penticton, and the South Okanagan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Experience with plan-o-gram and merchandising

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine as directed by the Sales Account Manager.
• Communicating weekly with Sales Account Manager to gain updated guidance on program execution.
• Maintenance & execution of the SmartStock program (racks/plan-o-gram/ordering, merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending to customer needs and concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
