Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking skilled nursing professionals for travel assignments across British Columbia, with roles in Emergency, Obstetrics, Dialysis, Psychiatry, Mental Health Units, NICU, LTC and Health Centres.

Applicants should have 18+ months of RN/LPN/MHN/NP experience, current registrations with BCCNM, CPR/BLS, and ACLS/CTAS preferred for ER. Fully paid travel and housing, and license reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as RN, LPN, MHN or NP with BCCNM.
• Minimum of 18 months experience as RN/LPN/MHN/NP.
• Current CPR/BLS.
• ACLS and CTAS preferred for ER.

Responsibilities

• Quickly adapt to new clinical environments, workflows, documentation systems, and facility expectations.
• Provide safe, compassionate, culturally sensitive and evidenced based nursing care in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Develop and implement patient-centered care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, facility staff, and agency representatives.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling, assignments, and travel requirements, including working in remote or high-need locations as required.

Location: Remote Northern Communities (BC)
Pay: $40 -$64/hour (Rates and additional per-diem depending on role)

We are looking for skilled Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Mental Health Nurse (MHNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) with a minimum of 18 months experience to join our travel team who will be sent on short-term assignments in British Columbia. Assignments are available in Emergency, Obstetrics, Dialysis, Psychiatry, Mental Health Units, NICU, LTC and Health Centres.

Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Candidate Requirements

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Mental Health Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• A minimum of 18 months (1.5 years) of experience working as an RN, LPN, MHN or NP.
• Current and valid CPR/BLS.
• ACLS and CTAS preferred when working in the ER.
