Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority in Cape Breton, Canada is seeking a Specialty Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care for a unit requiring complex patient care. The role provides clinical leadership and works with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient/family outcomes.

The candidate must hold ACLS, CTAS, and PALS or ENPC, with a BScN/BSN and at least 2 years in a Level 2 Emergency Department. Accommodation, travel, and rental coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• CTAS (Canadian Triage Acuity Scale) proficiency required.
• PALS or ENPC certification required.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Level 2 Emergency Department.
• Preference for advanced training in emergency/critical/cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct nursing care for the Specialty unit.
• Provide clinical leadership in complex care settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Ensure documentation compliance at NSHA sites.
