Job summary

Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS) is seeking a School Youth Worker for the TREES program in Surrey, working with youth aged 13–18 to support emotional and school needs. You will provide nurturing, assist in curriculum planning, and help youth engage in meaningful activities within a structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with complex behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
• Ability to build relationships with youth and connect to community resources.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and positive behaviour support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provides culturally safe, in-class support to students.
• Establishes relationships to link students with longer-term resources.
• Supports teachers with curriculum and activity planning.
• Maintains case notes and reports for program funding.
• Participates in team meetings and collaborates with staff.
