Job summary

The Central Alberta Regional Victim Serving Society (CARVSS) invites applications for a Court and Support Navigator based in Maskwacis, Alberta. This full-time frontline role delivers information, referrals and trauma-informed support to victims, working with RCMP, GoA and partner agencies to navigate court processes.

You will conduct needs assessments, coordinate with VAP components, and support case management while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct in a demanding community

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education in Health, Human Services, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Community Services or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years related client service experience, preferably with individuals who have crisis/trauma.
• Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line information, support and referrals to victims.
• Coordinate with RCMP, Victims Assistance Program and other agencies to educate, assist and support victims during the court process.
• Conduct needs assessments and maintain accurate victim files and documentation.
