Job summary

The Newly Institute Edmonton Clinic is seeking a Registered Psychologist to support individuals with complex mental health conditions. You will assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment within a multidisciplinary team, following our client-centered model at the Edmonton location.

You will utilize EMDR or ART trauma therapies, conduct assessments, and contribute to treatment planning and discharge summaries.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health assessment/triage and treatment is required.
• Experience using evidence-based trauma therapy, specifically EMDR or ART is an asset.
• Experience with individual, group, and family counselling is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for individuals with complex mental health conditions.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes.
• Provide trauma therapy using EMDR and/or ART.
• Participate in weekly case consultations and complex case discussions.
• Complete same-day notes and timely assessment reports.
