Job summary

ISL Engineering & Land Services in Calgary, Edmonton or Lethbridge seeks an Electrical Designer / Lighting Analyst with 3–5 years of civil/transportation lighting experience. You will design roadway lighting and traffic signal systems from concept to construction while working with mentors and clients.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge/experience with electrical design and/or lighting design for civil/transportation projects.
• Ability to travel throughout Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan with Alberta Class 5 license.

Responsibilities

• Design roadway lighting for interchanges, intersections, roadways, and pedestrian corridors using AGi32 to meet project lighting requirements.
• Complete roadway lighting and traffic signal electrical designs including calculations, single-line diagrams, schematics, material lists, and design drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and cross-disciplinary ISL teams to deliver projects.
