Job summary

Al-Terra is seeking a Transportation Lead to guide complex municipal and regional transportation projects in Alberta. You will oversee planning, analysis, and design, mentoring team members and engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, forward-looking mobility solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership in design standards compliance, project management, and collaboration across civil, land development, and geomatics disciplines, with opportunities for remote work where feasible.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of transportation engineering experience; consulting preferred.
P.Eng. is required and membership with APEGA in good standing or eligible for registration.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, multi-disciplinary transportation programs and major projects.
Oversee and prepare transportation engineering reports, design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with municipalities, advocates, and government agencies.
Mentor and guide young professionals and other staff.
Lead proposal pursuits and contribute to expanding Al-Terra's market presence.
