Job summary

Stantec in Alberta, Canada is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Transportation practice. You will work with senior project managers and design teams on local, regional, and national projects in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

The role supports planning through construction with a hybrid in-office and field presence, depending on project needs, client meetings, and team collaboration. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required; experience with transportation

Qualifications

• Experience working on transportation design projects.
• Ability to collaborate with senior project managers.
• Familiar with hybrid work environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of design plans and assist with preparation of technical specifications and quantity estimates as required.
• Prepare engineering reports and technical studies.
• Experience preparing grading and surfacing designs with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset.
• Provide experienced and skilled engineering and management of various transportation projects from initiation of planning through construction.
• Coordination with client project managers and design teams including sub consultants for effective project delivery.
• Working with other transportation staff and departments to complete projects.

Your Opportunity

Our Transportation practice has an immediate requirement for a Project Engineer in our Alberta offices. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work in a team environment and want to be involved in exciting local, regional, and national projects. The successful candidate will work directly with senior project managers and design teams to delivery our current and future projects.

Your Key Responsibilities
