Stantec is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our Hamilton or London team, focusing on planning and design of provincial highways and local roads. You will assist with alignments, safety and drainage design, and cost estimates while developing your skills under experienced highway designers.

The position is full-time, and the ideal candidate is a recent Civil Engineering graduate with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and InRoads/OpenRoads, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a transportation emphasis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with design guides and software is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and design of highways and interchanges.
• Review policies, perform technical analyses, write reports and prepare client presentations.
• Conduct site investigations to understand conditions and constraints.
• Develop alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and grading sections.
• Assist with proposals, project reporting, and coordinating multi-discipline teams.
