Job summary

Kibbi recherche un chauffeur professionnel pour un poste permanent au Canada (Région de Waterloo). Le titulaire conduira un tracteur-remorque, effectuera les inspections et reportera au dispatch central, en assurant la traçabilité de la cargaison et le respect des procédures de sécurité.

Expérience requise: 1 an à moins de 2 ans, avec permis AZ et Air Brakes Endorsement. Horaires: 35 à 40 heures/semaine, possibilité de voyages transfrontaliers et de nuits.

Responsibilities

• Obtenir les permis spéciaux et documents requis pour le transport sur les routes internationales.
• Conduire un camion porte-voitures ou articulé pour transporter les marchandises.
• Contrôler l'état du véhicule et vérifier pneus, feux, freins et isolation.
• Effectuer les vérifications avant départ, en cours de route et après trajet et superviser l'ensemble des opérations du véhicule.
• Recevoir et transmettre les informations au centre de répartition.
• Enregistrer les informations sur le chargement, les heures de service, la distance et la consommation de carburant.
• Hisser la cargaison et garantir sa sécurité et son intégrité.

TASKS

• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
