Job summary
Valley Equipment Ltd in Hartland, NB, is hiring a full-time Reefer Technician to service our growing rental trailer fleet. You will diagnose, repair and maintain refrigeration systems, read schematics, and ensure cargo temperature control. Candidates should have transport refrigeration/HVAC experience, ODC certification, and own tools.
A valid Class 5 license and strong safety mindset are required. You'll work a 9-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with on-call after hours.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Service Technician in transport refrigeration or HVAC.
- ODC certification and valid driver's license.
- Own tools and ability to perform diagnostics.
- Safety-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems on commercial trailers.
- Repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components and perform leak detection.
- Read schematics and manuals to guide maintenance and repairs.
- Schedule maintenance and document services performed and costs.
- Deliver excellent on-site customer service and support.
