Job summary

TransLink in British Columbia is seeking a project coordination professional to support transportation and civil infrastructure projects. The role requires a university degree in Engineering or Business and at least three years of related project management experience, with strong coordination and communication skills.

The position is hybrid, offering on-site and remote work within BC, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
Three years of related experience in a project management environment with coordination activities.
Solid knowledge of project management principles and practices.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management to coordinate multiple activities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with business and project management software and databases.
PMP certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Coordinate permits and approvals in coordination with project leaders.
Maintain project trackers and records; follow up on actions.
Organize meetings and support coordination with municipalities, utilities, consultants and internal teams.
Work with Permitting Lead and Project Managers to deliver transportation projects.
Demonstrate organization, proactivity, and clear communication with attention to detail.
