Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Two years of experience in a public transit operations environment is required.
One year of leadership experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
A valid Class Five Operator’s Licence is required.
Criminal Record Check is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Transit Operators and staff; schedule and coordinate daily activities.
Oversee transit operations during shifts and ensure procedures are followed.
Ensure staff are trained, certified, and fit for duty.
Respond to service requests, incidents, and passenger concerns.
Maintain dispatch logs and report on service impacts.
Coordinate with emergency services when required.
