Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

1. Provides excellent customer service as well as safe and reliable transportation
2. Operates a vehicle on an assigned route in safe and professional manner
3. Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned bus each day
4. Communicates effectively with dispatch or central office personnel via two-way radio
5. Always employs defensive driving and safety techniques
6. Diffuses difficult situations and maintains order onboard vehicle

Qualifications:

1. Open to work various schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
2. A valid B or C Ontario Driver’s License, Z (Airbrakes) endorsement
3. 3 years of driving experience and clean driving record (abstract/cvor)
4. Customer service experience and desire to work with the general public
5. Be able to provide satisfactory Vulnerability Sector Screening upon hire
