Job Description:

• Supervise staff in designing, developing, and producing training resource materials for centralized and decentralized training programs used by supervisory, clerical, technical, and trades staff involved in electricity transmission and distribution.
• Manage the Unit's work program, including budget, equipment/material purchasing, and monitoring.
• Lead and supervise staff engaged in training program development, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain training programs, resources, and manuals, applying training theory, standards, policies, and regulations.
• Assess training needs, analyze performance problems, and recommend appropriate training solutions.
• Develop training objectives, tests, and evaluation metrics to measure effectiveness and on-the-job results.
• Create engaging, self-paced lesson plans and training materials.
• Evaluate student performance and course effectiveness, reporting findings to management.
• Deliver presentations on training topics at conferences, workshops, and seminars.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Education:

• Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, physics, and power systems related to transmission, distribution, and retailing of power.
• Knowledge of training technology for designing and developing training programs.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Normally acquired through a high school diploma.
