  • Lead Team / In-Store Trainer Certification : Identify, certify, and mentor branch-level Lead Team members and In-Store Trainers to cascade practical training in the spa locations. Provide them with tools, schedules, and structured programs to carry out hands-on learning with new and existing team members.
  • Training Progress Coordination : Track and monitor training implementation and progress across branches. Ensure In-Store Trainers provide timely feedback, complete training logs, and communicate development needs.
  • Continuing Education : Plan and facilitate workshops, product training, and ongoing skills development initiatives to keep staff updated with trends and techniques in the spa and wellness industry.
  • Performance Evaluation : Assess staff performance through observation, feedback, and evaluations. Identify skills gaps and coordinate retraining or coaching when needed.
  • Quality Assurance : Monitor service quality across branches and ensure all team members are meeting the brand’s standards of excellence.
  • Compliance & Safety Training : Ensure staff are trained in WorkSafeBC guidelines, workplace health protocols, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Documentation : Keep accurate records of training attendance, progress, and outcomes. Provide regular performance and training effectiveness reports to management.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with Operations, HR, and Marketing to ensure training aligns with company objectives, seasonal services, and promotional campaigns.
  • Other Duties as Assigned : Support various company initiatives that require training input or staff development support.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a training or spa leadership role (wellness, beauty, or hospitality industry preferred).
  • Deep understanding of spa operations and guest service excellence.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience using presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, video editing tools, or LMS).
  • Ability to travel to all Sabai Thai Spa locations regularly.
  • Certification in Adult Education or a similar field is a plus.
