Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is seeking a Training and Documentation Manager for their Vancouver-based Training and Documentation Team. The role focuses on onboarding, staff movement coordination, and maintaining the IRG documentation model across offices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance/investment management, strong training experience, and excellent collaboration and communication skills. This hybrid role offers both in-office and remote work days.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Commerce (Finance preferred) or Economics; Canadian Securities Course or equivalent asset.
• At least five years of related work experience in the finance/investment management industry.
• Experience training and/or coaching staff with patience and flexibility.
• Aptitude to understand the big picture while being detail-oriented.
• Proven ability to think logically, solve problems, and prioritize tasks under deadlines.
• Interest in learning about different aspects of the investment business.
• Collaborative spirit and effective communication.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new employees across all offices and provide application overviews as required.
• Ensure new employees have access to the appropriate software systems by completing pre-testing before they join the department.
• Maintain the staff onboarding checklist and coordinate staff movements, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal moves within the department.
• Maintain IRG’s documentation model: determine processes to document, assist with formatting, create and review workflow diagrams, set deadlines with managers.
• Coordinate and maintain user access and perform an annual review for custodian/prime broker portals.
• Maintain and update the Certificate of Authorized Signatories list and perform annual reviews with the IRG Director and Senior Managers.
• Provide training to new staff based on team and role requirements.
• Support Certificate of Authorized Signatories audit requests and coordinate with auditors.
• Assist with IRG projects as required.
