This role involves providing essential administrative support to training managers, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative support to Station Managers and Regional Training Manager regarding Training and Development.
  2. Assisting in conducting and coordinating training sessions and bookings.
  3. Reporting breaches of statutory or company standards to management.
  4. Compiling weekly training attendance and compliance reports.
  5. Participating in training audits and assisting with corrective actions.
  6. Developing monthly and annual training plans.
  7. Maintaining up-to-date Training Matrix and LMS systems, including Airline Training Matrix.
  8. Working with Station Managers on training schedules before expiry.
  9. Ensuring compliance with governmental, regulatory, customer, and company policies.
  10. Conducting meetings to review safety trends and training compliance.
  11. Assisting during incident investigations with relevant training records.
  12. Conducting annual reviews of Station Trainers and preparing reports.
  13. Performing other duties as required.

Required Skills include:

  1. Transport Canada Security Clearance.
  2. Experience in Training departments and knowledge of Menzies Aviation AGOM and Airline GOMs.
  3. Familiarity with training methods, LMS, and recertification processes.
  4. Senior Certificate with at least five years in airline/airport operations.
  5. Effective communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, understanding of airport operations, and health & safety management.
  6. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work extended hours on short notice.

Additional information:

  1. Must be Canadian citizens, legal residents, or authorized to work in Canada, and at least 25 years old.
  2. Availability for extended hours and occasional travel.
