Job Overview
Working with the Training & Development team to provide training support to all Peavey Industries LP employees, the Training & Development Coordinator will assist with improving training & development plans, processes and procedures, and delivery including the creation of all supporting documentation that improves productivity and role knowledge of all employees. The Training & Development Coordinator is responsible for managing the Store Operations SharePoint sites in order to ensure that all store-related communications, requests, and action items are available in one efficient location.
Reports to: Training & Development Supervisor
Hours
- 37.5 hours/week
- 8:00 to 4:30 Monday to Friday (flex options available)
- Hybrid – 3 days per week required in office
Responsibilities
Operational Execution & Improvement & Systems
- Support Cross function SharePoint sites (Store Operations, Senior Ops, Operational Services, People & Culture, Training & Development); layout, design, and flow of all store communication work, methodologies to improve the tools and utility for the store or cross-functional stakeholder audience
- Maintain information shared and stored on SharePoint in an efficient manner with the intent to minimize time spent searching for information by the end user
- Receive, post, and manage Bulletin requests, Store Tasks, and Surveys and work with Home/Regional Office departments to ensure communications are clear and efficient
- Coordinate efficient Home/Regional Office communications to store locations via SharePoint
- Assist in the administration of the Learning Management System
- Transition/upload any required materials and information to SharePoint sites (ad hoc or formal)
Documents
- Assist in the development of all formalized documentation including policies, procedures, SOPs, SWPs, manuals, guidelines, memos, training plans, etc.
- Assist in formatting and updating all documentation including policies, procedures, SOPs, SWPs, manuals, guidelines, memos, training plans, etc. as required with all user groups in the organization
- SharePoint repository management
Cross Functional Support
- Communicate challenges and issues with achieving expectations ahead of time and proactively seeks solutions from their team and direct supervisor
- Facilitate, communicate and maintain Surveys and Task Lists among stakeholders via SharePoint
- Respond to Internal and External Stakeholder Needs
Training
- Assist in the development of training plans for all sectors of the business
- Facilitate role-specific, process training, and team training
- Facilitate and monitor new employee training
- Assist in coordinating training events
- Provide metrics from available sources to assist in identifying training gaps
- Facilitate product knowledge training on LMS
- Complete the Job Grant process for eligible employees once approved by the Supervisor
- Audit completed training
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
