A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a Trainee Estimator. The role offers full training from an experienced pre-construction team and an opportunity for a degree apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.

No prior estimating experience required; training is provided, and you will learn to read drawings, prepare cost estimates, obtain quotations, and keep tender records up to date.

Competenze

• Qualified to A-level standard and seeking to study for a Quantity Surveying or Construction Management degree via a degree apprenticeship or already have a construction-related degree and want to build a career in estimating.

Mansioni

• Support the estimating team with preparing construction tenders and cost estimates
• Learn to read drawings, review specifications and measure quantities
• Help obtain and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist with pricing materials, labour and subcontract packages
• Keep tender information and cost records organised and up to date
