Job summary

TEN Canada Ltd. is seeking a Trailer Technician in Mississauga to inspect, maintain, and repair a broad range of trailers. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while contributing to a high‑volume service operation.

The role requires a licensed technician (310J) or current apprenticeship, at least one year of trailer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 85 pounds. A positive team player attitude and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Truck-Trailer Service Technician (310J) or working towards it – Apprentice.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Trailer Service Technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of trailer systems, including electrical, suspension, braking, and structural components.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify maintenance or repair needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating moving parts, replacing worn components, and adjusting brakes and suspension.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot trailer issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Repair or replace damaged trailer parts including electrical systems, tires, brakes, lights, couplers, and axles.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and bodywork repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all repair procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.

As a Trailer Technician at our Mississauga branch, you’ll be performing the following duties:

Qualifications:
