Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking a trailer mechanic on a permanent basis to join our Supply Chain team. The position is on-site in Regina, SK with a Monday to Thursday shift from 2:45 pm to 1:15 am.

You will service and repair pumps, meters, PTOs, tanks and fuel management equipment, while ensuring compliance with provincial and Transport Canada regulations. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 2+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License; Class 3A is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical services on retail delivery units and semi-trailer units.
• Inspect, adjust, repair or replace parts and diagnose truck-trailer systems.
• Complete tests and inspections per provincial and Transport Canada regulations.
• Install and transfer tanks on retail delivery units.
• Install and troubleshoot truck mounted fuel management equipment.
• Perform aluminum cutting, welding, and fitting on aluminum tanks and equipment.
• Complete tests required by Transport Canada on cargo tanks and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
